How to Capture Time-Stamped Evidence
To document your item's condition before a rental, take timestamped photos or videos no more than 24 hours before the rental begins.
Ways to Capture Time-Stamped Photos/Videos
Smartphone: Most smartphones automatically encrypt timestamps on photos and videos.
App: If your phone doesn’t include timestamps, we recommend using Timestamp Camera Basic.
Mac: To check timestamp details on a Mac, open the original file and go to Tools > Show Inspector.
